Comedy One Battle After Another - PTA/DiCaprio Team-Up

I'm gonna take an educated guess and say that DiCaprio's salary took up a sizeable chunk of that budget.

I approve PTA getting a blank check original movie.

If it actually hits, WB is on one crazy hit streak this year. And with some gambles like the good old days.

Nah, Marky Mark was great in it. Leo would’ve been great too, but his team back then saw it as too much of a risk. The thing that bothers me now about Wahlberg is him finding God and all of a sudden this is the one role he regrets, out of all them stinkers under his belt, this is the one.

I'm pretty sure God would be more unforgiving about the real life hate crimes Wahlberg committed than him pretending to be a porn star.

He was, but you look at the rest of his career and have to wonder if that was just by accident.

I'd make an argument for The Departed too. After all that was the one time he was nominated for an acting Oscar. Though that could also have an asterisk next to it since angry Bostonian probably wasn't much of a stretch for him. :o

Boogie Nights is his magnum opus, but hear me out:

Marky Mark was horrifying in Fear.

It’s been some time since I watched that one, but I do recall being rather unsettled by him as a kid.

He played that crazy and deranged white man role waaaaaay too well.

Just like Fred Savage did in that lifetime movie.
