Without Lucas and Peyton this show is getting cancelled.

Eeh. I think not. I honestly feel like the show could easily survive without Lucas. He just doesnt feel as though the show would die without him, even though he's clearly the main character. And... without him, what is Peyton gonna do? They're kind of a package deal...

I have a feeling that Mark Schwan intended for this to be the series finale but the CW went and renewed it. It brought about so much closure. Everyone got to where they wanted to go and everyone got what they had always wanted. This is a perfect series finale.

Lucas hasn't even felt like the main character the last two seasons.

I read online earlier this week that this upcoming season will move begin 1 year forward from where we left off at the season finale. I can't wait to see what happens! I am totally rooting for Brooke and Julian!

One problem I have always had with Lucas over the years is that he never "beat" Dan at anything. The show's "hero" was made Dan's b^tch both mentally and physically. It made Lucas look pathetic. I mean, Dan turned himself in for Keith's murder.

I never thought of it that way. I do remember thinking that you would expect Lucas to be this "bad boy" when really he is just the nicest, most simple guy.

I always thought of Nathan as Dan's b*tch. When he was in jail, didn't nathan and lucas make a promise they wouldn't see him at all but lucas finds out during the probation hearing that nathan visited him a couple of times? wow, I watch too much OTH...
