Organic Steel?

Does anyone know of a tutorial for photoshop in which you can render someone's skin to look like the organic steel of the X-Man Colossus? Ive been looking through several PS tutorials, but have been unable to find anything good.

That's where I've been looking, actually; it has a chrome tutorial, but it's meant for inorganic objects (like a computer).

Um, well because 'Organic Steel' isn't real I think you can pretty much make it up however you want as long as it looks good.
