Outside of Disney, do you still watch childhood films?

I'm wondering who else continues to watch the films they grew up with and still enjoy them to this day. This is showing my age, but I still love watching even the more 'obscure' films from my childhood such as First Kid, Man Of The House, Little Rascals, and so on. All of them.

I know many here still watch the Disney films they grew up with and the more general classics (Jumanji, Muppets, Spielberg) but who else still watches everything else still?

I've found that as I've grown up, a lot of the films have gotten better in not only do I see and relate to the kids still, but the parents as well more than I could have in the past.

Yes, all the time. Nothing wrong with holding on to a little bit of your childhood, and a lot of those films are quality works of art anyway, if one looks at them the right way.

I watched Goonies not long ago. So yeah, sometimes.

Yes I fell much older then my 27 age because of stress trying to get out on my own still and watching cartoons helps you to fell younger and there is nothing wrong with watching cartoons at any age. I love the ice age movies as an example.

Sure! Of course there's sometimes the case of "Why did I used to enjoy this?" but usually it's fun to revisit the old fave films.

Yes. The Goonies and The Monster Squad are my two favorite movies, and I revisit them often.

Not sure where the line for "childhood films" is drawn, though. Are we talking movies that are strictly seen as "kid" movies, or just movies we watched a lot in our childhood (Uncle Buck, The Princess Bride, The Great Outdoors, etc).

Well, movies that feature child protagonists. As said - Blank Check, Star Kid, Dunston Checks In, Man of the House, Wild America, Air Bud, etc. 90s kids will most likely get those references.

Yes, never stopped. Most of the time I'd rather watch something from my youth than something new.

My childhood movies where the likes of Die Hard, Predator, Terminator, so hell yes I still watch them.
