I never beat Paper Mario. I played it a long time ago, and was too young to stick with it. I played Paper Mario 2 everyday during Christmas break and stopped when I entered the 1,000 year door. Still haven't beaten it. I say get PM2 now. Then get PM1 on the virtual console (or used, your preference).


I don't think they'll port Paper Mario to the DS since Mario & Luigi seem to have the "Handheld Mario RPG" title.

The full title is Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It's an old SNES game. It came out in the later years of the SNES' lifespan and thus never got a whole lot of attention as Super Mario World.
