Paul W.S. Anderson headed for POMPEII.

Some the people who worked on Alien worked on Event Horizon.

Paul W.S Anderson is a self confessed Ridley Scott fanboy and is from the North East region of England near to where he is from.

Anderson hired Blade Runner screenwriter to write Soldier which is set in the same universe as that film he sees it as a sidequel. Anderson hired people who worked on Alien to work on Event Horizon because his a fan and Anderson did the first AVP movie.

I don't even know what this movie is about but, given that Paul W Anderson is behind it, it will most likely SUCK. Wouldn't surprise be if his wife didn't have a staring role ha.

For once I wish someone would make a movie based on a historic event and completely what happened.

Cripes I hate the Paul Thomas Anderson and Paul WS Anderson confusion I always have. I was really excitied when I thought it was from the director of There Will Be Blood and Boogie Nights

Someone I always manage to mix Wes Anderson in there too. I think because of the "Wes" vs "WS" bit.

Paul Thomas Anderson presents St. Paul Crosses The Andes directed by Wes Anderson, screenplay by Paul W.S. Anderson, based on a novel by Poul Anderson. Starring Anderson Cooper, Anthony Anderson and Alexandra Paul.

It'll probably just exist to annoy me with dozens and dozens of historical inaccuracies.
Absolutely

You are pre-warned on the count. This won't even be REMOTELY accurate. You better take it as a fantasy.
So it seems

If successful enough, maybe this one will kick start the production of a Wonder Woman film?

How is this related to WW? Am I missing something?
Maybe that this looks Olympian and Wonder Woman worships Hera?

Kiefer Sutherland looks so out of place in this movie. He looks like he dressed up as a Roman emperor for Halloween.

And skill, the guy makes Michael Bay look like freaking Speilberg by comparison.

Yeah Keifer Sutherland looks exactly like Keifer Sutherland.

Both have the ancient world as an important part of the story. The more successful sword and sandal films there are, the bigger chances are for a Wonder Woman adaption.

The sad thing is, this thread is bigger than the Inherent Vice thread.

I agree with this. Bay, for all his shortcomings, still occasionally makes movies that intrigue me enough to watch. But as soon as I see Anderson's name, I can almost guarantee that it's going to suck and don't need to bother with it.
