I didn't understand that part where he shoves a pencil up his own nose?

Maybe I missed something.
It just made me cringe. I hate seeing and thinking of stuff going up the nose and into the eyes.

I knew that was coming, as much as I liked the one from TDK atleast this one had blood and you could feel some kind of pain involved.

What makes you say that? He pulled the pencil, bloody tip and all, out of his nose. He just used it to crank it back into place.
I'm not sure how people didn't get what was going on. His nose was clearly mishappen after the mansion fight, and he used the pecil to crunch it back to nomal.

I think because it was so dark, it looked like the end of the pencil was missing. I thought that too at first until I realized it was just bloody.
