On Marvel.com`s character profile page for Spider-Man it now has a link for a Will Fitzpatrick, Mary`s father. But so far the entry is blank. My question is... Is he new or has he been mentioned previously? I can`t ever remember hearing about him, though I haven`t purchased a comic since Sins Past. But I try to keep up with whats happening, even though I dislike the current direction of things.

Interesting... Could have something to do with BND, or some old school random reference:huh:

"Wild" Will Fitzpatrick has been mentioned as Mary's father (and I believe he is deceased), and I think that was in Untold Tales of Spider-Man #-1

:yay:

Is that cheap writing,or is it good writing?Because if it's good or bad, some fans may choose to accept or not.

Crikey, If Aunt May and Uncle Ben were as old as they were in Amazing Fantasy 15, Peter's grandparents must've fought in the Civil flamin' War.

Joking aside, I'm actually trying to put this together. It's been awhile since I've read the "we're robots" thing. Richard Parker is Uncle Ben's muuuch younger brother right?

Also while I'm at it. That was just ridiculously stupid that they ended the robot parents story with Harry on TV saying "GOTCHA!" after they killed him off and redeemed him months before.

That issue came out over a decade ago. I don't think there's much debate about it.

Richard is 10 years younger than Benjamin. I forget when it was said, but it was a long time ago.

It would be nice to see Peter's family from his mom's side... Cause all we really know about Peter is BEN, MAY, Richard, Mary... I wonder, was Mary an only child, did she had any siblings? maybe Peter's got some relatives that he doesn't know about... (Please NO Super powered relatives) It would be kinda fun to explore this part of Peter's life that we know nothing about...

That would be incredibly cool to see more of the mom's side, but yeah, none of them could be villains or anything ridiculous like that.

PS - I'm still waiting for the day some idiot writer comes along and tells us Peter has a long lost sister or something.

he could his father was in the CIA before he met his mother and so he may have fathered a child as part of a cover (as out there as it may be). but its not as bad as some of the other things that have happened in the comics. hell you could even have nick fury send him to help her and then they find out they are related.

so depending on the way its done i don't think its as bad of any idea as you may think. no where near as bad as goblin babies and the unmasking.

Yeah I spose, but then again I'd rather watch an entire years worth of Sister Sister than read that 2/3rds of Sins Past all over again.

Wow Sister Sister really? a years worth of it?

I thought it was pretty good writing because it makes Peter's pain very palpable, knowing that he could never truly get revenge because of the situation with Harry.
