Marvel Films Phase Six

I’m pretty excited for both Wonder Man and Vision Quest.

I’m pretty excited for both Wonder Man and Vision Quest.
I'm more intrigued by those two, as those two are longtime Avengers members in the comics.

Which can't be said to Echo and Agatha, which imo are only happening because Disney+ needs to pump out more originals.

I hope they revise their schedule like this

2025:
4 (Feb)
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (May)
Deadpool v. Wolverine: Dawn of Into the foXverse (Nov)

2026:
Armor Wars (Feb)
Avengers: Secret Wars (May)
Spider-Man: No More Home (July)

So I delayed Deadpool to 2025 and removed two unrevealed films before Secret Wars.

Even with that need, Echo you’d expect to be last on the list!

I forgot that Vision Quest is also in the works.

I'm curious how Marvel Studios will plan to slow down the series coming out. There's like 9 shows in the works right now.

Loki, Secret Invasion, What If?, Agatha, Echo, Ironheart, Daredevil, Wonder Man and Vision.

Maybe they will slow down the pipeline of announcing as of yet unannounced shows, and then take more time on the ones already announced. If they want to cancel Echo I don’t mind. :D

I hope we get a full road map for phasiX in SDCC 2023, and hopefully a revised phas5 with fewer shows for 2022/2023.

Its not rocket science but adding these shows to the line up kinda makes things harder to follow. Good thing I haven't missed anything yet, but I plan to skip What If? season 2 when its out.

I won't mind if Echo and Agatha: Coven of Chaos are both canned. I just don't get why a supporting character of a series is getting a spin off show when that character haven't crossed over in any movies. While imo Loki season 2 isn't really necessary, they should have just continued his story in Kang Dynasty like Kang instead of getting a preferential treatment for being the only Marvel live action series to get a 2nd season.

Imo, we should be getting Daredevil, Wonder Man and Vision instead, two of those are staple Avengers in the comics. But with the things are going right now, some of those would have to wait til 2025 and even 2026.

I think both Marvel and Disney both got carried away ordering too many series.

What's going on with Armor Wars?

It was discussed for several years then set to go into pre-production as a Disney Plus series and then 6 months ago gets sidetracked as a movie and then nothing since?

Its rumoured to be released in May 2025.

Kinda worried about the film's future after the lackluster flop that is Ant-Man 3.

Could Armor Wars do worse or would they stack the film to make it more of an Iron Man or quasi-Avengers film than just a War Machine film? Hell, I'm hoping it doesn't get cancelled at all for fears of how it might perform box office wise.

They should call it Marvel Studios' Iron Man: Armor Wars, if they don't want to use Marvel Studios' War Machine as a title.

If I were Marvel, I would just focus on making DS3, BP3, E2, SC2, XM1 and CM3 than this.

Yeah I kinda figure it'll be like
Armor Wars : An Iron Man Story or something to that effect.

I see your point. They waited way too long for this but sucks they wasted Cheadle in previous films. Should have just killed him off in Civil War if they barely planned any relevant role in the MCU.

Honestly with so many ips getting their own film, what is even the point of a War Machine film now? Given his role in the previous films... this is quite random for a MCU film. Its an obvious 1 and done solo film and if there's a War Machine 2, I'd be why again?

Yeah, a bit like how they waited too long for the Widow film. That one was a bit much AFTER she died.

It should have been a phase 3 film. But I guess it was better than nothing.

Its still not too late to give Hawkeye an origin film.

Yeah, and with Hawkeye I guess they’re thinking they gave him a show at least.
That show feels like an afterthought to me, well most MCU shows anyway.

After what Jeremy Renner have been through recently and the fact they promisèd him to headline a solo movie, a Hawkeye movie should happen imo. I feel like boX office wise, it should do more than Armor Wars, Thunderbolts and Eternals 2.

With the success of Black Widow, another prequel isn't a bad idea.

I didn’t know they promised him a film. Looks like they’re building up Kate Bishop too so she could appear if there are still any plans for a Hawkeye film. Might just be a season 2 though.

Wow reading this page shows so much has happened in the last few months huh.

My revised Phase 6
May 2025 - 4
Oct 2025 - Blade

Feb 2026 - Doctor Strange 3
May 2026 - Avengers 5
Jul 2026 - Spider-Man 4
Nov 2026 - Captain Marvel 3 (if there's a sequel to The Marvels)

Feb 2027 - Black Panther 3
May 2027 - Avengers 6
Sep 2027 - Shang-Chi 2 (this is coming out so late but threequels for older characters, should be done first, so those characters can retire after Secret Wars, Shang will be in Avengers anyway)

Thats how I would do it not sure what are currently heavily in pre prod right now? So mostly sequels + reboots of Blade and the Fantastic Four.

After the Marvels' performance, they need to make drastic changes. Less than $100 million in North America and $200 million worldwide for a Marvel film in 2023 is alarming. The numbers will go lower if they continue to release 3 to 4 movies in a single year, and with so films in pre production, they would need they delay some of these films even further to prevent more boX office bombs.

Phas5
July 2024: Deadpool in the Multiverse of FoXness
Feb 2025: Captain America Brave New World

PhasiX
May 2025: Fantastic 4
Jul or Dec 2025: Spider-Man

May 2026: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty
Nov 2026: Shang-Chi and the Return of the Ten Rings

Feb 2027: Doctor Strange: Dark Dimension Mania
May 2027: Avengers: Secret Wars
Nov 2027: Black Panther: The Last Stand

For 2025, I'm keeping it 3 films but 1 of those will be a Sony production anyway and the neXt Spider-Man has the best for boX office success anyway. I'd swap it with Fantastic 4, if they film it first. It would serve as a good lead in for Fantastic 4 but for now, I'm keeping Fantastic 4 for May. I'd also end Black Panther and Dr. Strange in 2027 with their 3quel. Black Panther 3 will perform better the Marvels, so even if it's the third Marvel movie of the year, I don't see it flopping.

No Armor Wars, Blade, Eternals II, Thunderbolts and Thor 5. They can save Blade and Thunderbolts (with a different roster) along with the X-Men after The Multiverse Saga.

This is crazy, if Marvel Studios' X-Men is now in the not so distant future. I hope it doesn't get delayed again and again if they finally set a date, and we got plenty of date changes to the reboot of The Fantastic 4 and Blade.

I'm anticipating and dreading their 2026 line up at the same time. Blade? Shang-Chi 2? Armor Wars? X-Men? and if it doesn't make it to neXt year, Spider-Man 4?

My interest for Blade has waned. And imo, Marvel should just focus on the others instead of trying to make it happen. Armor Wars is just shrugs. Spider-Man 4 is a guaranteed hit but a new director for Spider-Man makes me skeptical about its quality. Shang-Chi 2 is way overdue, the first film will be 5 years old in September 2026 and I don't think the sequel has a director yet.

And if Fantastic 4 marks the start of PhasiX in July 2025, then thats just like 15 months from now.
