But that report of "see right through him" was some time ago...Last year I think.

It's possible that they could've changed up Iceman's effects for the final product...I'm keeping an open mind..

First, there's no guarantee that that's his real hand. For all we know, it could be a hand model, to make his hands look pretty. Secondly, notice how the colors and hues in the shot look off. All they did was adjust the colors to make it look like his hand was turning blue from the frost....

And you know, if this, and the polarized Iceman are but a taste of what the effects look like for this movie, I'd really be ashamed as a fan to have my favorite comic heros be represented like this to the general public.

besides a cold hand may not represent what he'll look like when completely iced up, perhaps it will be a stage of transformation.

I certainly hope so. Otherwise, it just kills the anticipation on seeing the movie. Rather than being excited to see the film, I'd wait until the crowds and hype died down to see it.... Which I'm hoping I won't have to do.

For all of you complaining, lemme ask this: Being that Singer and co. set up an X-Men universe somewhat grounded in reality, how could Bobby Drake possibly turn into complete ice. Ice, and nothing but ice without any sign of skin, bones, blood, whatever?

Maybe his powers work better with the gloves off because his hands are actually in contact with the air around him so he can create the ice quicker

See im not 100% sure because if he does have his gloves on, wouldnt we see the shape of them at the bottom where they overlap the sleeve of his uniform? Or are his gloves like logans and they actually fit underneath the sleeves?

He definitely is BB, check the teaser. I think Iceman looks great iced up alright but that shot above of his clenched fist could use some frost FX or something, instead of just going blue. I'd say they'll add some more FX to it though.

If this is a glimpse of what he looks like when he uses his ice powers partially iced up, I'm cool with that. Although at first it looked like he was projecting water from his hands.
