I was talking about this being ridiculous,
I was not talking about the Thor change, or any of the latest events or changes that comic book companies do at least once a year to try and increase sales. This is nothing new at all.

Define "new". For an industry that's celebrating 75th anniversaries, I think any thing in the last 10 years counts as "new". I swear they didn't do as much of this crap before 2005, or at least not as crazy. Things change, I get that, but when you're writing a comic, you have control of those changes, so why make changes that don't make sense? In what way does "She-Thor" make for a better or more important story?

How do you know it doesn't make any sense yet? How do you know it isn't important or better? Have you read the story already?

I think I've already pointed out some ways in which it makes little or no sense. You can be the new Green Lantern, but you can't be the new Hal Jordan. Thor is his real name, not a superhero codename. Technically, he may be in his rights to smite her under Asgardian law, for impersonating a god. Keep in mind, the Norse gods are still worshiped in some places. But I'm not going to get into that here, I'm going to drop this before the mods get angry.

Um, more than 10 years ago, we had Kyle Rayner take over as GL. 4 Supermen to take over for Kal after his death from Doomsday and Azrael take over for Batman when Bane broke his back.

Those are all codenames. I JUST said you can have a new GL, but if someone else shows up and introduces themselves as Hal Jordan, they wouldn't be the REAL Hal Jordan. Thor is his REAL NAME. It's what he was named at birth. 2 Hulks? Ok. 4 Supermen? Sure, why not? But how would a woman named Bruce Banner make any kind of sense?

Sad but beautiful:

A man on Reddit had a photoshop request: A grieving father took to the Internet with a simple request: Help me remember my daughter without the machines that surrounded her for her short life.

This is the photo of little Sophia he offered:

“Photoshop Request: My daughter recently passed away after a long battle in the children's hospital. Since she was in the hospital her whole life we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?”

Here are a few of the responses he received:

Hadn't pegged Ross as a 50s Sprang fan, such an awesome nod to his fun take on it.
Was this for a Sprang collected works or something?

Um...Kid Loki can have some teen drama issues relating to how he thinks his brother/sister looks hot now. Hijinx can ensue as he tries to plan the perfect panty raid.
