Nice ... although the Bat one is odd. Where is that from? In the regular run issue of GL when Bats put the ring on he saw his patterns and dropped to his knees. Much different approach.

i think its an elseworld story.. from those 4 .. only the Green Arrow one is from the main DCU, the superman one is also from the main DCU but is in a dreamworld.

When John Stewart was paralyzed, for a long amount of time he was like that because he was subconsciously forcing the small amount of energy Hal gave him to fix the original paralysis to actually keep himself paralyzed.

Something like that.

Ok, so as far as I knew, back in the past, each Green Lantern ring had a different function: like Hal's would heal himself, and others had one's with unique functions... is that true?

no ring is diffrent from any other, except Kyles was the first to not have the yellow weakness, and The GL trainees have a weaker ring.

Kyle's ring also had a finite energy charge, unlike the 24 hour charge the old rings had. (And after Kyle modified it, it came back to him when ever he summoned it and always kept a small charge even after he depleted it.)

The GL trainees don't have weaker rings. All GL rings are capable of overcoming the yellow weakness. The wearers just have to be able to overcome the fear (Parallax). But trainess can't do that due to lack of experience.
