Piranha 3D

One of the most hormonally appeasing, highly entertaining splatter-romps ever. Aja has redeemed himself from the mediocrity of Mirrors.

Not much depth at all, but a ton of fun.

Kelly Brook is one of the most physically perfect beings ever created.

I'll check it out on Netflix since it looks like dumb cheesy fun. The thing that irritates me is that(and I posted something similar in The Expendables thread) critics are praising this film all due to it's genre or type, a cheesy "terror" film that doesn't take itself seriously. Basically they are reviewing it in comparison to other similar films like it, as opposed to reviewing it just as a film in comparison to ALL other films. Yet they trash The Expendables ignoring the same factors that they praised Piranha, I can't stand double standards.

Piranha 3D 10/10!!!!

Amazing 3D--some of the best 3D I've ever seen. Amazing gore, amazing death scenes...It gave you everything you ever wanted in such a movie...I was shocked at how self-aware this movie was and how well it catered to its designated audience.

It was in a similar vein of Snakes on a Plane, but with more cameos and with much more violence. :p ..The practical effects of the death scenes deserve some truly high praise. They were very well done and hilariously disturbing..

My girlfriend and her fried went to see this and I sat it out so I could get some work done.
She came home and told me about all the cameos, gore and 3-D boobies...now I want to see it. :)

Piranha 3D

When Piranha 3D enters its last 20 minutes, the thought a million ways to die
entered my head.Because by that time, various decapitations, mutilations, and severed flesh had danced across the screen. Some were quite funny and beyond gruesome.
Also a good amount of female nudity THANK YOU was coupled with the carnage.
I truly liked the underwater ballet like sequence of the two nubile women,as the camera goes over their curv.....uhmmm yes back to the carnage anyone who has a subscription to Fangoria magazine likely jumped in their seats with delight at the blood fest. This is a cheesy on purpose film, the type of film in which a man is half ripped to shreds and dying but wants to know if his penis is intact.
Gore lovers will likely give this film a 10 I give it an 8

It would have been awesome, random, and hilarious if Jerry O' Connell's character went into My Secret Identity mode, with spray paint cans.

:awesome:

I wish I can have time to see this movie...it seems like it's alot of fun to see it in theatre. :csad:

A 5 minute nude underwater ballet, Ving Rhames, Hooper, deadly piranha, Christopher Lloyd, Elisabeth Shue in uniform...... I might have to see this.

Just saw the movie. I'm sorry, but it has to be said, people:

THE FISH ATE JERRY O'CONNELL'S PENIS!!! :woot:[YT]a1Y73sPHKxw[/YT]

10/10 (just because of how ****ing goofy and over-the-top FUN it was).

It's nice to see other people share my enthusiasm!

I know. I'm sorry, but that scene DESERVED a use of the Dramatic Chipmunk video!

Btw, I also got to see The Expendables, as well! MAN, did that movie kick ass! Anyway, I think Piranha 3-D was SO MUCH FUN! Christopher Lloyd was funny as ever as the scientist and Eli Roth's cameo role wasn't half bad, either! I hope the sequel they're planning shows more of
the giant "adult" piranha
, but that's just me!:woot:

This film was awesome...3D Kelly Brook naked...girl on girl...lots of nakedness...blood and gore and humour...

What more could anyone want from a film?

Aja might produce, but I doubt he will return as a director.

The spill.com seemed to like it a lot too...I think some of them took a bit too seriously. :p

no one gives a **** what Spill or AICN or That Prick with the Glasses thinks
