3D is a gimmick, but a good one, IMO.

It's starting to be overused.

This movie was a so bad its a good type of movie & I actually want a Piranha: 3D - Part #2. I want to see what the adult Piranha's can do if those baby Piranha's can do that type of damage lol

This movie was awesome. I mean, it had everything - boobs, suspense, boobs, Richard Dreyfuss, boobs, copious amounts of blood & gore, boobs, Jerry O'Connell as a smarmy *****e, and more boobs! There were so many I lost count of them! It was amazing!

First things first, and although the beginning dragged this movie became awesome when the piranha were unleashed. Wow! The over-the-top gore was flippin' amazing! It was so awesome it was almost ridiculous but it totally worked. Damn. The one that was the most insane IMO was when 2 guys were trying to carry a girl out of the water but she split in two (!). The only thing I kinda wanted to see more of were the piranha themselves - I mean, there weren't that many close-up shots of the piranhas doing their thing.

I have to admit the only human characters I actually liked were Ving Rhames (him shooting at the piranha and using the engine blade were totally awesome) and Elisabeth Shue (who's still totally hot). The teenage guy was a dork, Jerry O'Connell was a little too smarmy (but deliciously smarmy of course), and well, the ream of hot girls were either skanks or there for the eye candy.

Oh and the hot girls were all totally awesome and kept my attention 100% on the movie whenever they were on screen. Whoever came up with the idea for that underwater nude swimming scene, I tip my hat off, because that was glorious! I can already see myself rewatching that scene constantly when this movie comes out on DVD!

The only thing that really pissed me off was the instant setup for a sequel like RIGHT at the end. So annoying. Made worse by how fast the last cut was - slow-mo would've helped that out for me.

Awesome movie though and I actually can't wait for a sequel!

saw it last night, and did what it promised boobs, blood and a fun B movie.

really enjoyed it. and will be a blue ray buy.


and on the cameron aspect to me this is a case fo him being so far up his own arse and believing his own hype, to me he's only done 3 good movies t1,t2 and aliens
ohh guess what all shockly genre films

still say avatar is one of the most over rated films and would never have got a quater of the hype unless it was the "holy grail" by cameron

I haven't seen the whole thing yet,but one of my favorite parts from the movie is when Derrick Jones is trying to get the boat moving,the way it's shot is hilarious. I mean that one chick looks so stupid with the way shes sticking her butt out,then you got Derrick Jones showing his teeth and with Jerry O' Connell giving an over the top performance as him .Being pissed off.
