I don't know if it would work. I mean most of it's charm is how Ellis subverts the comic book and pulp hero medium. Film has an entirely different vocabulary.

Planetary was one giant homage. Granted, it was one damned good homage. I don't see villains who were essentially an evil Fantastic Four working in a movie, for one.
