Hey guys, I couldn't find a thread on this...but I was needing some help.

I really wish my PS3 was backwards compatible, because then I wouldn't have this problem.

I still own a PS2, and still have games on it that I like to play. I'm still playing Snake Eater and RE4 and others on it.

But my controller is wrecked. It drops out, for no reason, during gameplay and the controller begins to point upwards with the left analog stick as well.

So, I need a new controller...but I really don't want to drop $25 on a new one. So, I think I'm willing to buy a third party controllers...ones I usually avoid like the plague.

Any good thrid party controllers? I just don't want one that'll shatter if I drop it or anything.

There is no such thing as a good third party controller, I avoid anything third party like the plague :o

Gamestop has used controllers. I've had no complaints about them, since the ones I've bought have been in pretty good condition.

aint nothin wrong w/ a 3P, it's just certain companies I'd look past...Like Mad Catz or MaddKatz, whatever the hell- they manufacture junk keep it movin. Ain't there an EB near you?? They've absorbed everybody else that want's to sell used games outside of the Blukbusters, you can get a used Sony stick for bout 15 I'd think.

If you like your PS2 games that much then $25 for a new controller shouldn't seem like such a big investment. Hell, most PS3 games cost twice as much as that.

I dunno, $25 just seems steep I think.

I think I might get a used one for $15, though. Just as long as the thing is in working condition and doesn't drop out on me, I'd be happy.

But if it does, then you were only $10 away from a brand new one. Ah well, your choice man.

i got a used red official one for 50p once. thank you stupid blockbuster :D

Well, wait...is the return policy on the used controllers the same as used games at Gamestop?

Because if it's not...then yeah, I'm buying a brand new one.

Ehh, I know myself too. When it comes to buying games, and game related stuff, I go back and foward a ton of times.

I'll probably end up getting a new one.

Every Five Below I have been to sells these new for...you guessed it, $5.

No one knows this I guess since they appear to be overstocked...or, few people have use for PS2 controllers.
