thanks for the help...ive gotten most of my songs back...whats up with this problem anyway? ive had songs dissapear before to and i swear sometimes money from my account...
Technically, all your music files should still be on your system since iTunes stores those separately from the library files (iTunes stores the songs you import in the iTunes Music folder. You can find the iTunes Music folder in the My Music folder inside your My Documents folder (My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music). In Windows Vista, you can find the iTunes Music folder in the Music folder (C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music). What probably happened is your iTunes library files went corrupt, which can cause iTunes to forget the songs, videos and playlists you've imported/set up.
A tip for those whose music gets deleted accidentlyPand I believe this only works on music and not videos}: Even though the Apple FAQs says you can only download your music once, if you email them and tell them you lost your music, they'll let you download them again. I already did this twice so it works, or at least it did.
thanks to everyone...i actually got all my music back but the it dissapeared again...itunes said it was damaged when i tried to open it. for the second time in a week ITS DAMAGED!?!?
i tried to find the library but its only giving me older librarys.
