PSP-4000 Digital coming out next, save ya cash, apparentlly getting rid of UMD's too.

Sony treat the PSP like Apple do with the Ipod, evry year bring out a new version until they actually manage to get it spot on.

thats only a rumor at this point. I dont think Sony will or can remove the UMD drive from an updated PSP. Remove the UMD and its no longer a PSP but a new handheld system all together and I dont see a PSP-2 (or whatever it would be called) being released anytime in the near future.
