As Havok's lover and a member of the X-Men and I hope her hair is full-green!
I really want her in the sequel. But I have a feeling they will change her loads. (but im open to that)
I dont think she will be related to Magneto in any way.
and I think her powers will be altered a bit.
I could see her as an early example of humans(Sublime) replicating mutant powers.
Using Erics DNA maybe.
I agreeIf the movieverse is so removed from the comics that Nightcrawler and Mystique aren't related (or even hinted as being so) then yeah, no need to relate Lorna and Mags. Since it's been such a convoluted, retconned, mess whether they are or aren't.
If they want Magneto to have kids in the movies, start with Quicksilver and hopefully Scarlett Witch. Unless they got tied up with the Avengers and Paramount. Man, if only Marvel had never gotten involved with Fox.
^ Especially her hair :3
I would love to see Polaris in either the sequel or the third movie if they end up turning it into a trilogy.
The main problem with the connection with Magneto is that it seems they havent developted any love interest of Eric yet, so how can they introduce a 20 year old girl saying she is Eric's daughter?
I think they should explore one of his relationships in the next sequel, to be developed in the third one.
If they dont do it in the second movie, it will be forced to do it on the third. A strong relationship like father-daughter shouldnt be introduced and developed in just one movie, in my opinion.
After reading that i kinda want Firt class to stay in the normal time during the 60s and 70s and another different spin-off set in the 80s or 90s about Cyclops and Jean, but instead of making polaris Magneto's sister they should make quicksilver and the scarlet witch that.If there is a First Class #2 which is very much an unknown given Fox is currently planning at the moment to create X4 and X5 meaning XMF will have to make a ton of money for them to go with a sequel the natural time frame for such a sequel would be the late 60s like say 1968. The high point of the Vietnam War, the death of MLK, RFK, and the nation at such conflict.
By then Magneto would be in his late 30s so it wouldn't be weird or out of place for him to have a daughter in her late teens.
Anyway a fun fact is that Lorna first appeared in the comics in 1968.
