I'm going purely by comics here and not the MCU or Marvel movies. In the comics, Cap US was rather boring. In the movies he's far more interesting and one of my favourites. I really like this list, since it includes a terrific if lesser-appreciated Marvel character, Wolfsbane (and you've included Phoenix and Captain America --- iconic!).

I'm a big fan of Vision and the Scarlet Witch (Marvel Comics).
