OK if you are in hear you know about this movies major plot with Lex raising the continent

But hear is the thing..the continent seems to be Kryptonian right as if it is a huge chunk of kryptonthat made its way to earth long ago way before Superman ever arrived.

What if the coninent is actualy a prison for some horrible creature in other word the Kryptoninas had no way of dealing with this beast to they imprisoned it in a huge chunck of Kryptonian rock and blasted it off the planet and into space.

What if as the movie is ending and the continent is sinking..breaking apart into peices something starts to emerge something NONE of us were expecting like a Doomsday like creature...Pure CGI shot in secret to keep it away from fans and press something that will only be added to the final cut

Ammm.... I thought Lex created NK with the help of alien technology (probably FOS)

Are you saying New Krypton is actually a peice of Krypton that fell to earth? Where did you hear this?

Good speculation but it is merely speculation.

If you want to speculation on something more real than you should be thinking about the large chunk that Superman chucks into space. From what I know it is going to take orbit and this is what would set up the supervillian in the sequel if anything.

Thanks...I didn't know he throws a chunk into space.... again same idea that at the end of the movie something emerges from that chunk

To Cineman and others

The idea that the crystal creates..... something kryptoniina out of Earth...just doesn't make sense....if the continent has Cryptonite embeded in it..thus macking Superman week..the land mass must in part be a piece from the old krytonina world

I aways thoguht the FTS was mostly crystaline ice... that is somehow manipulated by Kryptinina tech..

New Krypton seems to be alot like the material found in space ie.... a peice of old Krypton

Why is it there? Does lex need to go to specific Coordinates to find it in the middle of the ocean perhaps something Kumar decodes from the FTS..the location of an anchinet prison..

Perhaps an even bigger reason as to why Brando sent his savior son to this planet should that prisoner ever find his way out?

I thought the reason for the kryptonite was explained as Lex fusing half of the crystal with a piece of kryptonite.

edit: your theory doesn't really hold water as if Kryptonians had gone through the trouble of using actual Kryptonian land to build a prison on earth, then that Kryptonian land wouldn't have been present when the planet went supernova, thus it wouldn't be kryptonite.

you are right... none of krypton comes to earth except for metors of kryptonite

Him creating the continent is shown in the latest trailer too. It should be pretty obvious where and how it is done by now. If you don't think THAT makes sense, you're in for a huge surprise June 28th. (Or whenever you see it)

it has been a LONG time since I have seen the movie

No, Lex does in fact grow New Krypton. That is his whole plan. Using a small piece of Superman's home world to destroy Superman, and essentially create a new land mass where Superman could do nothing to Lex.

And Lex can rule all.

And kill BILLIONS!

While the real Lex Luthor would simply want to control billions.
