News report claims that a Canadian university has discovered a treatment that kills cancer cells, leaving healthy cells untouched; but due to there being no patent - and therefor no exclusivity to for pharmaceuticals to make money, the public won't be seeing it for some time.

of course, even if this works, and cured people... you really think the pharmacuetical corporations, and insurance companies would let this out into the general public?

Cures, who needs cures when you can keep people sick... there's no money in healthy people, but there is money is sick people....

think of all the money, hospitals, doctors, pharmacuticals, insurance companies make, when people get cancer, and get constant radiation, and chemo therapy...

then the FDA, won't ever let it be released, because they are in the back pockets of these pharmacuetical corps...

i know. its ****ing disgusting. Having lost 5 family/friends to cancer in the past few years (the 5th died this past monday), I've seen how awful cancer is to those suffering from it and their loved ones. I've seen how terrible chemo is for the body and mind, how the expenses have literally bankrupted some...its just terrible.
