Possible Team - The Renegades

Is that the premise of the book or something you just cooked up?

I only listen to Prog. I'm funny that way.

Hey, I've got Dream Theater, Opeth, Rush and Neal Morse. Add a little Vai and Satriani and I'm set for life. Will listen to anything played by John Myung too.

Huh. I thought I liked prog rock but the only bands I've heard of there are Dream Theater and Rush. I enjoy King Crimson, Spock's Beard, and Yes, as well.
If you prefer actual issues, I think they're pretty easy to come by if you've got a shop with a decent back issue selection.
I really, really don't prefer individual issues. I've got a room full of them already.

The TPBs are good enough though the first one was pretty Cold War-heavy in later issues when a bunch of Soviets try to capture Widow and Ivan. The sporadic use of GR sorta annoyed me too.

I like Nirvana and Lil John...Okay I'm fond of Lil John but it could grow into 'like'

I love outdated comics. It's always fun to see your favorite heroes spouting anti-Soviet propaganda. :)

It was more or less a symphatetic view of the Soviet heroes. Darkstar premiered from that storyarc making it one of my faves. Of course most would say that Darkstar was a blantant Halo rip-off....Or is it the other way round???

It's even more fun rooting through the back issue bin and finding Cap on the cover of a book informing you to "Slap a Jap!".

Don't forget Captain America's first issue, where he's shown socking Hitler himself in the jaw. :D

superdickery.com is a great place to find such covers. Not to mention the largest collection of Wonder Woman bondage on the net.

I never understood how a noted psychologist and feminist created Wonder Woman with the intent of making a feminist icon... and then gave her the weakness of losing her powers if she were bound by men.

It's all about perception, my friend.

The guy was supposedly living a menage en trois. Maybe he was writing from experience.

Sure, but more taken aback because it was going on in, like, the 40s and 50s. I thought they were a bastion of wholesomeness.

Nobody asked, nobody knew. Except Wertham. Wertham always knew...
