Power Ranking The Characters In Infinity War

NERF is a new acronym sweeping the web. I learned it from people reviewing the Black Order's depiction in Infinity War.

Pretty soon people will realize on some of these Power Ranking threads that certain characters success primarily relies on the common criminals being nerfed issue after issue.

Batman and Captain America despite their skillset would not be able to get from issue to issue winning fights against legions of gunmen constantly shooting at them while avoiding being shot.

Very true, but you can't tell their respective fans that.

Yeah, I think logic is trumped by both a barricade of denial and myopic filtering of perception too often. They're still fun characters though and I enjoy their movies for the most part.

I'm pretty sure it's been a word since the early-2000s, it comes from online gaming when developers patch the game and make a weapon weaker.

MCU Cap's a bad example because he's superhuman but yeah, for peak human martial artists like Batman, Daredevil, Hawkeye etc their success relies on them being unrealistically hyper competent and none of their mooks getting lucky.

Yeah logically they wouldn't even be that useful on their respective teams considering the threats they face.

I could see them leading the teams by game planning, but not actually joining the battles.

He was talking about their comic book versions, but even MCU Cap isn't immune to bullets as strong as he is logically he should still be dead.
