. In an issue of Avengers Wondy throws Beast high up in the air where he is looking way down on the skyscrapers. When the Beast falls back down at terminal velocity which is about 120 mph Wondy catches him by the scruff of the neck. With that kind of reflex speed Wondy can beat the Hulk to every punch no matter what he does or however strong he gets. The problem is that writers seem to either ignore his speed or are unaware of it in the first place. It's the same with Hercules, Thor and Namor. They totally ignore the fact that they think and react much faster than any human, even a peak human like Captain America. Sure Hulk is strong but what good is that against an opponent who essentially sees him as moving in slow motion?

Bendis would write it as the Hulk and Thing inhaling some sort of "fear gas", or being under the energy of that old FF foe, (what was his name- he had a box that could mess up your emotions and induce what ever he wanted.)
I would hate that story because Cage has never been that way,... and the hulk (don't hate me) is too stooopid to be frightened by anything.

supermarvelman said:A lot of people talk about how Reed Richards has been out of character lately. same with Tony Stark, but how about Dr. Strange. To me him agreeing to send Hulk into Exile is very out of character.
I mean, if he had done it before I would understand how he would have been in favor of it. It's not like he banished him to...let's say, a mystical place...and let's hypothetically call it the Crossroads. But since he didn't, then he's WAY out of character!
