Preacher Preacher: Season One

Just found out that my dads uncle who is an actor is gonna be in this show. He's been on parks and rec, Seinfeld, married with children, was in batman returns and Edward Scissorhands. He was even on Americas most wanted during those dramatizations he played a father that killed his son and his gf. I'm talking to him right now about him being on Preacher.

AMC is doing a talk based aftershow for the pilot and the season 1 finale, like Talking Dead.

That's a pretty good sign that they expect it to do well.

I encourage everyone to watch the clip. They did it perfectly. It gives nothing away and really hypes the hell out of the show.

The opening sequence is great. Everything I've seen so far looks fantastic, and it seems like the buzz is really positive. It's a long shot to think this thing could wind up with Walking Dead-level popularity, but hopefully it doesn't wind up like Low Winter Sun.

I'm hoping this does good in ratings. I'm been seeing promos everywhere so people can't say AMC didn't try.

Yeah AMC has promoted the s**t out of this show. They released 4 episodes to critics to review and everything has been positive. A great sign considering there's only 10 episodes this season and we've yet to hear anything on the casting of the Saint of Killers which leads me to believe that he's not coming until midway through the season when DeBlanc and Fiore release him on Jesse.

The reviews all have a common praise and that's Negga as Tulip. She's being heralded as the best part of the show.
