Prequels or sequels?

Sequels. We've already seen a young Batman that's just starting out, whether it's in Begins or flashbacks in Mask of the Phantasm, and I find it a refreshing change of pace to possibly have a film starring a Batman that's well into his career and much more seasoned.

Well, prequels don't necessary need to be about Batman starting out. He can be well into his career, just prior to MoS and BvS.

Sequels, I suppose. Either one could work. What I really like about a veteran Batman is that he has so much history to draw on. You don't have to introduce him to his villains and base a whole movie around that, like with The Dark Knight Trilogy. I think it opens up a lot of avenues for the kinds of stories they can tell. I'd love to see some flashbacks or just have Villain cameos with big stories that can involve multiple villains like Court Of Owls, Knightfall, No Man's Land, Under The Red Hood, etc. I just hope it's not Batman and Son lol

Well if that 'leak' a little while back was actually genuine the Court of Owls are going to figure largely in the Bat-family movies over the next few years.

I voted independent trilogy. It can be about a young (recast) Batman in like his second year. Think Arkham Origins. Bats is still fresh at the whole Batman thing but it doesn't have to be an origin story and you can still introduce most of the rogues gallery.

Arkham Origins is one hell of a Batman story, isn't it?
