Today us at AMC COCOWALK 16 were so happy to find out we were screening for the press "TRANSFORMERS" and guess what we got the prints today...
The code name on the box was "TOY CARS" but.... one problem before we could have seen it before the press..... it had a combination... me and the GM were so sad but she said tomorrow they will call us or email us with the code 2 or 3 hrs b4 the screening at 7:30pm EST
I'll be taking pictures of the event and the maybe some the title screen snap shot.

The movie seems to be around 8 reels from the set box in came in so its already longer then fantastic four and by the size its maybe 2hrs+ without a trailer pack

I hear of weird things like that happening in America. I've even read an anecdote from one projectionist who had an armed security guard standing next to him one evening when he built up a print (assigned to bodyguard duty for the print, not the projectionist naturally).
The one that really pissed me off though were the "Tiny Dancer" trailers. Normally the idiot brigade only puts the code words on the outside of whatever packaging they use and everything becomes clear once you open it - The trailers all have the actual name printed on them. However, when I opened a packet of trailers labeled "Tiny Dancer" the leaders also had "Tiny Dancer" printed on them so there was the definitive name right there. Fortunately I bothered to stop and check some frames while I was winding the film and saw an ape face staring down at Ann Darrow...
Get it? Tiny Dancer? Ugh!
Cue warning email to my entire cinema chain. I don't know what stupidity goes through the heads of distributors thinking they might curb piracy by making trailers difficult to track. You'd have to be a special kind of stupid to sabotage your own advertising campaign.

Ok so it starts out with
Prime and his monologue and he talks about a CUBE that started the war when MEGATRON 1st betrayed the autobots and started the decipticons.
GOD I have alot of writing ahead
He then speaks on how they found a new planet called earth and saids the war e.t.c.... and the title shows up... We then see it shows QBART IN THE MIDDLE EAST PRESENT DAY.... and That an UNIDENTIFIED X4500 is FLYING TO THE AIR SPACE.... WHEN THE PLANE HAD BEEN SHOT DOWN MONTHS BACK..... Then trailer footage and THE AIR SPACE GETS RAPED..... AFTER THE RAPAGE we see SAM our hero sort to speak in class presenting a project about his gene family pool and talking about his great grandfather WHITSKY w.e and how he (ORIGINALLY) discovered MEGATRON under ice..... yearssss back. He then gets an A- ON HIS REPORT ON HIS PROJECT AND HEADS WITH HIS DAD TO BUY A CAR...... bernie mac uncle somthing as he was called was hilarious for the bit he was in..... he doesnt know that the camaro was there so he puts 5grand on the car but sams dad wont buy more than 4GRAND..... he saids well nope forget it..... BUMB GETS PISSED AND SENDS A SOUND WAVE AND IT BURSTS ALLL THE OTHER CARS WINDOWS and he then sells it for 4
Well I cant write much without basically me BABLING THE WHOLE MOVIE.....
So here are the main points
THE MOVIE IS PROBABLY THE BEST MOVIE THIS YEAR..... SPIDERMAN F4 PIRATES...... ALL CRAP COMPARED TO THIS.... THERES MANY MANY BATTLE SCENES........ MAXIMIZE IS NEVER SAID IN THE MOVIE..... MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE IS MENTIONED TWICE AND PERFECTLY..... THE TEASER TRAILER FOOTAGE IS IN THE MOVIE.... AND THE BATTLE SCENES ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT THE CRAZIEST THINGS EVER.....

CALLS IT A PIECE OF CRAP CAR THEN KICKS HER AND SAM OUT WHEN HE SAID..... " YOU SEE LOOK WHAT YOU DID..... 4GRAND JUST RAN AWAY PISSED.... HE THEN POPS A SIDE WHEELIE AND STEALS THE IMAGE OF A NEW CAMARO AND ROLLS BACK AS THE 09 CAMARO

It kind of sucks that Jazz dies. He was one of my favorites from the old cartoon, but it is a story of war, and there are always casualties of war. It was only fitting that Jazz was the one to go since more than likely it would have been him or Bumblebee, and I think people are more attached to Bumblebee. Just my opinion though.
