I didn't know which subforum to put it under. if I should post it in The Amazing Spider-Man(since it's a movie adaption of that movie), The Amazing Spider-Man 2(since it's coming out in order to get ready for it) or comics but thanks to Comic Book Resources since that is where I found the preview:

GET READY FOR THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 WITH AN AWESOME ADAPTATION OF THE WEB-SLINGER’S LATEST HIT FILM!

• When danger threatens the city, high school student Peter Parker leaps into action as the wall-crawling Spider-Man!

• Spider-Man! The Lizard! Gwen Stacy! All this and more movie magic!

The art is decent(Peter doesn't look totally like Andrew and Spider-Man looks like a mixture of the first Spidey costume and the classic comics costume)

I think it's an interesting choice to give Peter thought bubbles to describe what Peter is feeling. In the movie Peter was a much more introverted character uncomfortable in social situations. With Andrew you have to figure out what's going on inside Peter's head by reading his acting and body movements because he doesn't have monologues/narration/voice over tactics the way other versions of Spider-Man even Tobey had. It's understandable to why Peter acts turns out this way because it stems from abandonment issues and unresolved angst from his parents leaving him at a young age and never coming back with no explanation and saying nothing except "be good".

In fact most of Andrew/TASM Peter's full conversations that let us know what he's thinking is either with Gwen(on the football bleachers or when she was patching him up, for the most part acting more confident after he reveals he's Spider-Man), Uncle Ben, Captain Stacy(Defending Spider-Man's actions at the dinner scene, explaining that Dr.Connors is the Lizard and when he learns his identity at the end) or Curt Connors(about the cross species genetics/decay rate algorithm,at Oscorp or trying to persuade Lizard to think rationally). He doesn't really show confidence or talk until he first officially dresses up as Spider-Man(I counted 17 quips and classic Spidey like moments/type movement like Spidey throwing books and a sneaker at the Lizard when he was dodging him in the High School library scene, webbing Lizard's mouth, etc).

Maybe this can help give people/nay sayers a better understanding of Andrew Garfield/Mark Webb Peter's personality in the first movie and some better insight on why he acted the way he did.

What do you guys think?

I think this is a great idea. I wonder though if they are going to add some of the deleted scenes in this adaption?

I'll go to B&N later this week to pick it up.
