Just under a week away until the show starts it's second season. I truly cannot wait.

I hope this is the last season of the show, they really have to finish it off.

I've heard that this season is "on the run" and that the third season is about "unravelling the conspiracy". Don't know if there's any truth to this- but, that's what I heard.

Can't wait.

BTW, does anyone know if they are going to somewhat change the opening credits of the show? To fit more with the theme of season 2 - being on the run.

They probably will and will probably have a 5 minute 'Previously on Prison Break' to open the show, have another 4 minutes then cue the credits. The Fugitive lasted five season I believe, so Prison Break could go on for awhile. The only hicup for the 2nd season is the actress who plays the Female President signed on to ABC's Brothers & Sisters (her husband is an exec producer for the show) and won't be around for the first part of the season. Also the second season is being filmed in Texas and the ABC show is on LA. They're hoping things work out or her show is cancelled.

I am def. reading up a summary/catching up with Season 1 and getting into Season 2.

Yep I'm so excited about this Monday. I already got my DVR set to record all new episodes  Can't wait.

I really hope they don't pull off a winter hiatus like last year.

Although it was great having the show back to back with 24.

I don't think they will have as long of a hiatus. It was originally due to, I think, they didn't know how far the show could go. Once they realized they got a hit on their hands, they might have been behind and had to really get to work. That's why the final episodes after that hiatus, if I remember correctly had no breaks. So, this season- I don't think we'll have to go through the same fan torment of having to wait another 3 months before a new episode- or at least I hope not.

They were filming in Chicago, now they are in Texas so they can shoot year round. But there will be another break. Depends on how the new Fox Fall schedule does. If Vanished, Standoff and Justice are hits it will be tough since American Idol and 24 return in January. Bones is already moving to Fridays come 2007. The break might not be as long but there will be one for Prison Break.

Every show has a break, that's granted. There's a "mid-season cliff hanger" for every show- I believe. What I meant in my post is that it will be a usual/typical month-month and a half break, rather than the break that it had in the first season- three months, I believe. So, yes there will definitely be a break. But, I highly doubt it will be as long and tedious a break as Season 1.

Supervising Producer Nick Santora said in an interview (don't have the link handy) that last November or so they started to create in-depth story arcs for season 3, and have ideas through season 5. It might be stretching it going 5 seasons, but who knows. If they can continue to make it good, I'll continue to watch.

I'm really looking forward to the new season. Although, I hope the show doesn't get repeative like 24. This type of show really needs to come to a conclusion soon.

btw, here's a season 2 poster I made...

Nice, like that tagline.

The lighting on the characters doesn't fit, but apart from every is fine.

Should be great, the government plot stuff seems like your standard manchurian candidate fare. But maybe they have bigger plans. Although who is to say the plot and objective has to stay the same like most shows. What if the dynamic changes like instead of killing them, they sign them up to the conspiracy or the brothers go undercover into the conspiracy to expose it. Or maybe an underground war with the father on one side. Would change the whole nature of the show each season maybe as the adventure evolves. Until they end up being global emperors, fighting aliens with superweapons the conspiracy created.... :D

Great poster btw. :)

Dude, you made that?! Great job, upon first glance I thought it was an actual promo for the show- "cool"- then read "btw, I made this:".... in other words, really, really well done.

They are.:(

Can't wait to see T-Bag running through the woods with one hand

Darthphere, I highly doubt that they will. Yes there will be a winter hiatus. Every series has a winter hiatus. But most winter hiatus's typically last from one month to two months, not as long as the hiatus that the first season of Prison Break had. It came a surprise when the hiatus started- in interviews I recall that the midseason wasn't actually supposed to be the midseason cliffhanger, it just ended up that way. So, this time they will be alot more prepared and while yes there will be a winter hiatus I highly doubt it will be as long as the hiatus as last year. Since they are definitely better prepared this time around.

It would be awesome if the escapee's finally come to a resting point, are having trouble and in flies a bloody rag with fingers sticking out of it, then you hear a voice with a southern drawl asking, y'all need a hand?

How am I wrong? The lenght of the hiatus was never in question, just the fact that there was going to be one.

Oh, ok- srry, rushed to conclusions. And yes, the length was actually brought into question alot- once, I believe, earlier on this year and many times at IMDB. So, kind of rushed to conclusions.

Its cool. Either way, looking forward to the new season just a couple of days away. Bill Fichtner is an excellent addition to the cast IMO.

Yeah, definitely. For me the cancellation of 'Invasion' was a good news/ bad news scenario. Good news- Bill Fichtner is coming to 'Prison Break.' Bad news- 'Invason' is cancelled.
