I currently have the 3.07 version of Firefox and for some reason, when the update for the latest version of Firefox happens, it's able to update but after I start Firefox, it says there was a page load error and no matter what site I try putting in, nothing happens & there's no way for me to connect to any web sites even though I have a connection to my router.

I followed one of the steps off the Firefox site, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Configuring+Windows+Firewall

That one...but I didn't see Firefox on the list where it says to delete the program. I had AVG, but I removed it just in case that was causing some type of weird error with Firefox but apparently it's not. Oddly enough, even though I had a connection, I have a connection to sign onto AIM but as for viewing sites and all that on Firefox, nothing happens.

All my computers, my laptop, another laptop, and the other computer that's a desktop and connected to the router itself are all Windows XP. Sooooo I just kinda wanna know why I don't really have an internet connection on Firefox after it does a self update. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before with any of the other updates.:o:huh:

Hate to say...have you uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch?

Internet Explorer

1. Run
2. iexplore
3. ??????
4. Profit

I've done that. For some odd reason, IE doesn't work for me. I open it & it says the page can't display even though I have connection. I've run that Windows diagnostic thing & I've even called Linksys & Microsoft to try and get it to work & nothing. :o

Now this sounds fun. Have you ever had Norton/McAfee on your computer? Past tense mind you. Often AV/AS programs that have expired can leave corrupt remnants even if you uninstall.
