I mean her pic is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but her eyes are weird in it.

It's the contacts. If you just look at it for a minute it looks fine but if you focus on it, it does look kind of wierd.

I'm a bit bothered by what appears to be Chiklis' lip, but I doubt that's an oversight if we're noticing it.

As for Reed's pic reminding you of an open casket funeral, I've been to plenty of open casket funerals and I don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Torch could use some flames.

Sue's pic is fine; her eyes are not "purple" as someone said. We know she's wearing contacts, and there's some slight wonkiness there.
I'm not Alba's biggest fan but I don't see anything there to complain about. Obviously the usual Alba-bashers do.

I'm not thrilled to death by these, but overall I think they're fine.
Some are just grasping for anything to complain about.

I dunno. Her eyes seem really far spaced here. I know it's not you calling me out personally, cause I'm not an Alba hater. I'm just saying that it doesn't look like Alba at all, to me. Like it was a really bad angle for her or something. I just said "Sue" because, well, that's the character, and I didn't want it to seem like I was hating on the actors, but commenting on the look of the characters, instead.

I'm not thrilled to death by these, but overall I think they're fine.

Well, since I'm the one who said they looked purple to me, I suppose this comment is addressed to me.

They look purple. To me anyway. They are Elizabeth Tayloresque blues...and she was unique. These just look weird to me. Even though they are eye contacts they can still make an effort to have them look natural, no? I feel that, on a whole, the make-up department really failed this actress aesthetically this go 'round. Jessica is a beautiful woman--but these grooming choices do not flatter her.

I'm not grasping for anything actually; I'm just telling it like it is--from my vantage point, that's all. And since the Invisible Woman is my favorite FF character (coupled with the fact that I've been one of Jessica's supporters) I have a right to offer constructive criticism like anyone else.

It looks to me like they took foil and placed the foil on someone's face and then smoothed it out.....THATS IT.....thats what it looks like to me....

Hmmmmm.....well I could agree with that, except in a few of our cases....not sure where we fall.....

I actually see 4 groups....

Cheerleaders to the point of almost being labeled shills....positive blinders...
Negative to the point of bliders...
Flip Flopers
And a few well balanced thoughts on the subject of this film....

I also think that one of the reasons some of us came together in the past was not necessarily out of an enjoyment of this movie, but out of combating some extremely bad trolls (seemed for other reasons, but in the end it was more for the trolls than comaradiere) we don't have that (extreme trolls) near as much, if any actually so far.....which is nice...

In my humble opinion.....I simply see alot of opinions being thrown out there and very little rudeness or namecalling.....and as far as I'm concerned, whether I agree with them or not, thats cool......

In some cases, even alittle of "what goes around, comes around"....lol but thats a whole other story......

More than anything else, I think a lack of humor (on other threads, OTHER THAN THE NANO THREAD...LOL) is missing....

But......in reality.....you are correct....it is not as fun as before........maybe because for many of us.......those "blinders" have been removed.....whether be for this movie....or other things....."ignorance is bliss" does not apply anymore...

I'm not usually the guy who get overly impressed or overly upset about comic book movies. Oh I'm on here non stop, looking at this ****, but I'm usually in the middle. I mean, I don't get bent out of shape about comic book translations, I've got better things to do than that, and if i am pleasantly surprised, I don't really feel the need to say something... but I'm not really sure how anyone can be upset by these. They're pretty effective in what they want to do. A little more serious, letting us know the FF means business, Thing looks great as does the Surfer, while the more human looking ones have the attitude needed to let the general public know whats up.
