PS3: 10th Most Overrated Product of All Time

People are actually admitting in this thread that Sony over hyped the PS3 too much and now can't understand why its on a Most Overrated List? Sorry to burst your bubble, but that ain't too bright either chief.

well.....systems don't tend to have a lot of great games at launch so not really...yes I'm dying for another great game but only a few weeks away now. Motorstorm will kickass

PS3 is overrated? How about the Nintendo Wii?! At least the PS3 has next gen graphics...that alone should make the Wii more overrated then the PS3 because it has crappy graphics and nothing else to offer but a gimmicky controller.

But the Wii wasn't boasting about amazing graphics, it was no where near the level of hype that Sony or Microsoft put out. In fact, out of the three next gen consoles, the Wii is probably the least overrated because it has pretty much done what was expected of it so far.

Quick question. How can you keep the discs from being scratched everytime you put them in and out of the PS3?? I wish Sony would have gone with a loading tray.............

Quite simply, just load it like you would a CD into a car stereo. I like it much better without a loading tray, its more "clean." Speaking of scratched discs, did you know the PS3 can play damaged discs that others can not?

I don't hate the PS3. True I bought a Wii and 360 first (and probably will never get a PS3), but this brand loyalty is ridiculous to me.
