Ps3 HD space issues

OK, so I deleted some **** on my Ps3's hard drive and the system information lists 10GB available out of 55. I went to the P.S store to download the PsPlus free version of PsABR, which I believe was 4GB, but it won't allow it because there's not enough free space...

wtf? What am I supposed to do now?

Please help...

In order to download anything off of PSN you need at least double the space of the thing initially, because of how PSN installs.

Battle Royale is 7.2GB according to the PSN listing, so at minimum you need to have 14.4GB free.

ohhh damn, I didn't know that's how it worked. looks like im s.o.l then, I don't think there's anything left on my HD that's expendable

well as sata 2.5" hard drives are pretty cheap why not upgrade to a bigger drive ?

because, dave mcfly, I don't feel like spending anymore money on my outdated, obsolete Ps3, when I got a nice, shiny, white, destiny-bundled Ps4 waiting for me right around the corner
