Considering this is the only other new option out aside from Pink Panther 2...I'll go and watch Evans and Hounsou fight with virtual powers as opposed to hearing Steve Martin say "ham-tartar" again.

its so sad...I love Steve Martin...'Leap of Faith' is an all time favorite of mine and just a generally fantastic film

does anyone think Evans has that 'leading man' quality?? or potential for it....
Not quite yet but its not a bad thing Viggo Mortenson was a suuporting role actor until LOTR came around and theres nothing wrong with his body of work as a supporting actor until he matured into that leading man in Hidalgo, Eastern Promises and A History of Violence. Evans is better suited in comedies, romance a movies like Cellular for now.

Yes, I do. I think he just needs the right vehicle.

Push, will probably be a fun action flick, but not the one to propel him to the A list.

After Bringing Down The House, I thought for sure his career could go no where but up....and then he does movies like this.
sigh...

Camilla looks gorgeous. I might check it out when it's out on DVD.

For some reason this movie kinds of reminds me of a cross between Xmen and Jumper?

This movie looks like a sequel to Jumper. I'll be seeing it though.

This movie does to like a Jumper sequel but with better actors:o

So I saw the midnight showing and I was really surprised with this film. I really enjoyed it, and it was definitely better than Jumper.

Me too. That's also the general consensus among the people I've talked to about the movie. They think it looks like X-Men or Heroes. I'm not expecting much from the film, but it looks like it could be fun.

how does everybody think it's going to do this weekend. i want to say i think it'll do pretty good, but it's up against some tough competition with Coraline and He's just not that in to you, which is like a chick flick on 'roids.

If its not to much trouble could you give a detailed review on how the film was?:yay:

I saw this movie last night at a midnight showing. I barely had any idea what the movie was about going in other than that it involved psychics, but I was glad I gave it a chance. It was very cool and felt very fresh. It was almost like watching a live action anime like Ghost in the Shell or Akira. Good stuff!

I saw the movie and it didn't feel like Heroes, or Jumper or X-Men or any other superhero movie people want to compare this movie to in order to take it down.

I went into the movie already thinking that I was going to hate it and that it would be downright terrible. But otherwise, I found it to be very watchable and entertaining. Although the story is pretty weak, I think the main characters are what makes the movie so interesting. Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning have wonderful chemistry and I think if the number of people in my show is any indication, this movie will have strong BO numbers and I think a sequel is very likely.

Generally, I give it a 6.5/10. The story is just so weak and uninteresting, but I appreciate the decent acting, the action is pretty nice and clever, and the Evans and Fanning are fun to watch. The superhero fan of me gives it a 7/10. It's worth renting, IMO, but otherwise, if you go and see it in a theater, just keep your expectations very low and try to have fun.

Words cannot begin to describe without getting too graphic the torture I had to endure for the 2 hours watching this piece of *****, in other words this movie was B-O-R-I-N-G.

The plot was nowhere interesting and it felt like a plainclothes version of X-Men with all the characters shoving each other or pushing themselves out of danger (yeah that must be why the dumb movie is called Push), and chinese people who are the bad guys screaming which gets annoying after a while.

Now I love big action movies but this had barely little action and the few it had were not as exciting as the stupid reviewers have pointed out, I was looking at my watch at least three times wondering when the movie was over because I was seriously thinking about walking out.

And even the audience at my theater were bored out of their minds since I didn't hear any reactions none at all, I myself chuckled a bit when that one screaming chinese guy got the bamboo pole rammed in his neck.

Chris Evans is good at times when given a better movie but this one isn't it, the same for Camilla Belle and Dakota Fanning.

my score is 1 out of 5 stars, avoid this at all costs.

P.S.: go see Taken instead a much better movie.

You know its funny how young actors like Dakota fanning start to get crappy roles after they past the age of 10 and start doing movies like PUSH
