Drama Queen Latifah is The Equalizer

Is she ever referred to as the Equalizer in this show?

I think McCall, Detective Dante and her team have made references to equalizing. But it would take the watching reruns to be sure.

I finished the season. Pretty good overall. Her daughter definitely knows now that McCall isn't just a charity worker since it ended on a cliffhanger with her calling out her mother on that weapons armoury and having slaughtered that mob. I wonder if Det Dante will continue with the police force or eventually quit and join Team Equalizer.

Looking through the comments… A good number of folks are defending Noth. Or, at least, they’re castigating CBS/Universal TV for flouting the precept of “innocent until proven guilty.”

Needless to say, CBS isn’t charging Noth with any crime; they’re just protecting their IP and exercising fairly routine damage control. Whether it’s fair or not, Noth is currently radio active.

The last aired episode of The Equalizer featured a somewhat Bishop-centric storyline. But for the most part, Bishop (Noth’s character) has made only occasional and brief appearances. Indeed, there were a few episodes in which he was entirely absent. IOW, it should be fairly easy to write Noth/Bishop out of the series. :word:

I guess they can now cast someone as Control since they didn't use the franchises previous ex boss advisor.

Seeing as this show is CBS, I expect this show to at least 10 seasons, with at least 3 of those seasons well past it's prime, like a typical CBS show.

There was the opportunity to kill him off in that story if it had come to light earlier about his activities in real life. When he was captured in the episode, they could've just said he didn't make it out alive and maybe sacrificed his life for his son. I suppose they could still kill him off since he wouldn't really be missed.

Sadly, according to Deadline the show has been canceled.
