Question about installing digital games

I downloaded EA UFC on PS4 and am installing the game but it's taking forever,It's been almost two hours and only have 9%,My question is if I put the console back on stand by and come back later will the game be updated more or will it start from the beginning/where I left off?

I know I was able to with games like DC Universe Online but this is my first digital retail game so I don't know if it works differently,I'm using wifi and so don't know if that matters much

It'll just continue from where ever you left off while the console was on. Just dont do a full power down and you'll be fine.

I couldn't tell ya why the game is downloading slowly. I downloaded MLB for my PS4 over WiFi and it went fairly quickly.

It should. I can't confirm though as iv never done that. Ill just put the system in standby. There really is no reason to turn the PS4 off. Standby uses such little energy that it doest effect anything and your system and games will auto update.
