Comics Question concerning Morlun!

Hey I was just wondering if anyone could tell me in which issues Morlun returned, and if it was put into TPB yet or if it ever will be. Thank you.

It was put into "The Other" trade, (not highly recommended) and he returned in the issue of FNSM #1-3, MK:SM #19-21, ASM #525-526. There wasn't any explanation or anything either, he just kind of showed up.

There were hints early on that he'd be back (ASM #46?), even though there was no real need or desire from fans to see him back.

But his return was as though he and Spidey hadn't even fought before. They barely even suggested any recognition of each other.

Perhaps if he wasn't so closely tied to the Totem thing, he might make for an interesting recurring villain.

Interesting. Personally I liked his first appearance, and I was intrigued by the 'totem' story line. I'd stopped reading after John Romita Jr. left, and then I picked up the 'spider-man unmasked' storyline and noticed that Spidey had organic webshooters. So naturally I figured I'd missed something important. Now I'm hearing (from reader reveiws elsewhere, as well as the forums on this site) that it was an overall dissapointing time in Spider-man's history.

Does everyone share this opinion with the events on the Spider-man unmasked story?

I do to an extent. I think some of the writing post-unmasking has been brilliant (Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Sensational Spider-Man specifically). As long as they continue to come up with interesting stories about the unmasking, I don't have a problem with it. But before the unmasking? Lots of crap.
