Comics Question bout Morlun...

I know none of us kno alot bout this mysterious creep, but i reread the "coming home" arc and i was just wondering how come after countless attacks spidey couldnt put a dent in the guy yet ezekiel was able to make him bleed with one punch? I reread the story many times and they dont explain it. Is morlun somehow invincible to his prey but vulnerable to everybody else?

There's a novel out now called Darkest Hours with Spidey and Black Cat. The enemies are the sisiter and two brothers of Morlun. As I recall, Morlun went after Spidey as he considered him to be 'pure'. After Spidey 'de-purified' through a dose of radiation, he was able to hurt Morlun.

Ezekiel was never pure, so at a guess, i'd say perhaps that's why he was able to hurt him whereas Spider-man wasn't.

Yeah, I wish JMS'd explain that along with a bunch of other things... like how did Morlun just come back for The Other storyline? And why did all the solicits for that storyline claim that he was the one foe Spidey never beat when he clearly schooled him after that dose of radiation. If anybody, the Black Tarantula is one foe that Spidey has never beaten... atleast, I don't think he has...

Which also explains how Morlun could hit Spidey "harder than he'd ever been hit before"

you know, i would love to see wolverine or ironman take this guy on. This guy is clearly not within Spidey's league, this guy should be fighting the whole avengers. Poor spidey had to fight him all by himself...
