Someone posted this on another forum. I said "But she's not a Rock, Hip-hop, or country artist". Others responded that they mean she came out on top of artists in all those genres according to the study. Cool I get that, but it seems to me what the meme MEANT to say and what the words written ACTUALLY are saying are two different things.

"Of" implies she's in the category being discussed. "Any other" would be the people besides her who are also in that category.
If it had substituted "smartER lyrics THAN" for "smartest of", and left out "other", it would be saying what it means to say. As written, it says she makes pop music and has smarter lyrics than the other pop musicians. She make hip-hop and has smarter lyrics than the other...on and on.

What say ye?

are they referring to her as a singer or as a songwriter, or both?
she definitely does not get the credit for her songwriting abilities she should and i've always wondered how many songs she has ghostwritten under another name. i really think she's done that.

also, many don't know she's written 2 of the biggest Christmas songs of all time. I will mention the lesser-known one; Where Are You Christmas, from the Grinch. i hope we will get to hear her version of it someday, just because i'm curious.

shoutout to her use of the word "incessantly" in Heartbreaker, which caught my attention on a road trip about 2 weeks ago.
