I have a one pound envelope that I need to ship from Michigan to Puerto Rico.

How do I send it? I know Puerto Rico is US territory, but what kind of envelope and shipping rates am I supposed to be paying? Do I have to fill out that little green slip? Or is it like sending a package to Hawaii or Alaska?

It's part of the country, but there are still other steps that have to be taken. Check with the postal service office first.

There's the little thing called a post office..and they can generally tell you more about shipping than a message board.:oldrazz:

Yeah, but this is more convenient for me! ;)

Heck, there could be someone here that works at a post office.

If your shipping to PR using USPS, then it should be like anything you ship within the US. This will be your cheapest bet by the way. If you use Fedex you will have to fill out an International Shipping Form and will be costly.

My advise is to go to the Post Office and ship it from there. If you need it to get there fast go with Priority shipping.
