Would giving someones phone number to another person be illegal??

Doubt it.

What's the reason, got a friend who's interested in another and is looking to ask them out?

Nope, some chick gave out my phone number to her boyfriend so he could annoy me by called me at every waking moment to challenge me to a fight.

I have no idea if it is against the law but if I entrusted my phone number to you and you passed it on to another without my permission, I would have nothing to do with you and the one calling I would turn his name and number into the police as an harasser/stalker and I would include your name and number as the person who aided him . I would then hope the police would contact you both and put you and the person you gave my number to on a list with harassers and stalkers.

Guess you won't be asking for my number. lol

I just might try that.

Well I reported her to myspace for cyber bullying, hopefully they can delete her myspace or something.

Block his number.

Is she hot?

Giving out your number is not, but harrassment and threating physical assault is.

Omega, my friend, buy a new sim card. Ok it's a pain in the arse having to give your number out to trusted friends but the payoff is that the arse-hole in question will be scuppered in his threatening behaviour.

What does a new sim card cost nowadays? £5/$10 at the most? Small price to pay for peace of mind.

Don't worry about it chief. Threats are nothing without the action to back it up. My guess, this guy is a fanny and would probably flap it if he met you face to face.

That's my 10p for what it's worth. :yay:

Someone translate Ultimate Hulk's Britland Speak for me.

That sums it up.
Well I don't know if I should report him to the cops or if I should just beat him up.
First part would be a smart move. Second option, not smart at all. You beat him up, he reports you to the police. Guess who'll be in trouble? You, for assault.

Another thing you can do is, as someone already suggested, block his number or don't answer his calls.

My friend gave my phone number to her girlfriend so she could txt me dirty things while pretending to be a strange fat man.

I loved every minute of it.

If thats what was happening there wouldnt be a need for this thread

Well, I've once texted a girl and took it a bit too far.

Her boyfriend rang me and asked me stop texting her, he said "obviously you had a moment, that moment has no passed".

I never heard from her after that.
