I think that Electro's powers may grow and evolve over time. He starts out merely shooting electricity and becomes progressively more powerful as the movie goes on.

Lois Lane made a D*** measuring contest reference in MOS, I don't see why Peter wouldn't use an obvious insult (among others).

Wasn't a fan of that. They tried to make her too assertive and it came off weird.

Not saying I would have liked her passive, they just over did it. Look at our new Lois. She doesn't take crap from anyone. Look how much of a feminist she is. She's not scared of anyone or anything. Nothing will get in her way, she gets what she wants.

We get it, she's a strong independent woman... They were just too all up in your face about it.

THIS. I like female characters, but female characters like that, I can't stand. Sara Tancredi from prison break, even Kate a bit from Lost.

How were they all up in your face about it, it was one line. If Lois were a man, I doubt that them "being in your face about it" would be an issue. Lois is like that in the comics as well (she's an army brat who knows how to take care of herself). So they were being faithful to the books.
