and for doc jones,10 of 10. by saying that, steven speilberg prolly won back atleast have the fans he lost after indy 4.

7/10. People shouldn't be abandoning Spielberg if one film didn't meet their expectations. :whatever: That's absurd.

yet, people are doing it. (I think?? maybe? it wouldn't surprise me.) I think if any1 is to blame for making it not as good as it could have been it's lucas. I mean I didn't think aliens was necessary. just cuz it was the 50's doesn't mean ufo's have to take over. I think if they where finding something that was more "supernatural" and less "sci-fi" it whould have been just as good as the originals. instead it's reduced to a popcorn flick. (a good popcorn flick, but not great.)

Simple yet truth.

ur's is 3 outa 10, just cuz I think the quote seems like it was taken out of context.

Don't entriely agree with you there. Aliens was neccessay, it was a huge part of the 50's. But to each his own.

Besides, aliens are more realistic than 500 year old knights or a man getting hi sheart taken out while still living and screaming while looking at it. It's just because we've never seen Indy with that stuff before. Just think if this was the plot to Raiders and it switched.

I think introducing fantasy and supernatural elements to an otherwise realistic world is indy's signature. (and the reason the 1st 3 are so timeless) I kinda hope if they do a #5 they go back to supernatural over sci-fi.

also, i don't agree that the 1st indy movie would be as good as it was if you switched it to aliens. (and yet, i can still live w/ aliens in #4)
