Superman Returns Re: The Offical Jason Appreciation Thread

Again, the issue is not rather he can have sex because we all know he can. As Batman the 6th said it happens in the comics and it happened on LnC. LOL...didn't they have a some ceiling loving?? :)

Anyway, the question that is going to come up is how exactly she got pregnant. Did the tube have something to do with it? Is Singer even going to touch on this?

Those are my questions? I'd like to see them answered, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think it might...

I just posted in it, so you don't have to search for pages for it. You can also look in someones profile by putting the mouse on the username, and selecting one of the four choices.

See...I'm of two minds about this. To touch on SII and the love making you'd have to bring up the hypno kiss. I would think Singer would want to stay far away from that because it brings up WAY too many questions about the mind wipe. Though, he could bring it up because if the kid is Superman's and that is indeed when the conception occured then it's going to have be to at least mentioned.

I'm thinking Lois is just going to remember and we won't get an explanation of how Supes was able to take away the thoughts and memories Lois had that Superman was Clark. It won't explain how he was able to selectively take away things, but not erase her whole mind. It will be like...OMG...we did it! I will buy that, but...well...I'll buy it and I'll leave it at that.

edit:

Thanks Batman the 6th. I'm going to check it out.

Yet Lois remembers the white father crystal in the book.

Well, kinda... She believes she has seen it before, but the novel doesn't explore it further. She's already focusing on Luthor's plan and such.

Exactly...it says memories like from a dream invade her mind, and then she focuses back on Luthor.

I don't think she knows...or consciously knows, but I think it's probably somewhere in the back of her subconscious. LOL...I just want to see how she will remember?

edit:

I want to see her remember and then pick up a chair and bash the MOS just once (it's not like it will hurt him) :)

I'm not, I couldn't think of anything good with Supes in it that hasn't been taken. Plus my username on Kryptonsite is Superboy2, yet Superboy has never posted, at least not for a year or 2.

It was asked a few pages ago When other than the Elseworld Son of Superman did Lois have a child with Superman? They had a son in Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomrrow which is considered the final pre crisis Superman story

They did? Nice avatar Lobo. I mean its derrogatory towards women and it is not appropriate. Ehh ehhmm. Yeah I'll shut up.

The marriage was planned first in the comic book. They were engaged in 1990 in Superman 50, the marriage was supposed to happen in Superman 75 but they postponed it because the TV show was in the works and they decided to coincide the wedding with the tv show. So to delay things they killed Superman amongst other things.

Sure, and yet still it was done in the tv show first. Clearly the books have been leaning towards introducing a kid as well any how. Lois and Clark have been talking about it for a long time. So your argument here still holds no ground.

ALSO, I repeat, some of the most prominent MAINSTAYS of Superman "canon" and mythology; Kryptonite, the Daily Planet, Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, and MANY others were ALL introduced outside of the comics first as an evolution or change.

And many of those things were NOT planned in the comics first.

You cannot just pick and choose when you want to aply your logic when so many things should other wise be abolished from canon as you view it.

What could give her the strength to cut the hair so hard that the scissors broke?
People keep saying Jason needs a haircut. Maybe Lois couldn't cut his hair either lol! :)
