it's a joke.

oh, forget it...you need to spend a bit of time in the community forum, my humor only gets crude occasionally, (usually when i'm trying too hard for a laugh :() some of the others can get crazy.

Sorry...not trying to be creepy...just funny. Sometimes I fail :O
No it's cool, I was joking. Okay, huntress says we need to get back on topic. I like Supergirls outfit...nice. What is that from?

Wasn't there an alternate story where all of the males except Lex and Supes were killed, and Supes had to leave because he was a carrier of the disease? And he donated tons of sperm, while Lex stole hundreds of babies so he could take over the world. Lois and Clark had a son named Adam. The next generation of humans would be part kryptonian. I forgot what it was called.

This issue proves that not only is it possible for Kent/Sups to have a super family with Lois .

But it also proves that it won't be long before in the DCU Lois & Clark become Super parents .

I hope she finds out in the movie. Athough, I would like to see the Clark/Superman/Lois love triangle play out. Would that be too Batman Forever?

I want her to find out...at the very beginning of the next movie to distinguish it from Spidey 2.

Plus, I think it's fair she knows earlier rather than later since they both know they have child.

I want Richard to die because I think that's the most heroic and noble means for him to exit. However, I wouldn't be soooooooo estranged to seeing him leaving of his own volition.

lol...I say we throw Richard off a bridge. It worked for Gwen Stacy...

I'm surprised all the women in that alternate story didn't try to get Supes 4 child support. He'd need Lex's money to support all of them.

not at all...Clark/Lois/Superman CREATED the two person love triangle...it makes for interesting drama and interaction.

And something that occured to me...why am I more accepting of Superman having a kid if it's a daughter rather than a son. I don't know why, but I really would have an easier time with it...

It only proves a family is probable in the future...and not that it won't be long, because, as I recall that comic was from 2 years or so ago...

Little late on this one, but...

Ok sorry but you couldn't be more wrong the man of steel woman of kleenex analogy is right on the money.
while he may be able to not hump lois to death ejacuation is an INVOLUNTARY reflex and sorry but supes would do it at kryptoinan force which would kill lois.
Its not a matter of DNA compatibility I am sure that is believable for kryptionians and humans to mate but the sex part would be death to the human, maybe had she been artifically insuminated????

How is your skeletal musclature related to the strength of the tubes in your balls? I must've missed the issue where they reveal how Superman shoots his wad faster than a speeding bullet. If this were true, Superman would squirt blood at a million pounds of pressure per second every time he got sliced up by Doomsday, because following your logic he's got SUPER ARTERIES and a SUPER HEART. You know, yeah it's completely make-believe physiology we're talking about here-- but there IS a logic to some of it if you think things through.

Your nerdery is no match for Kevin Smiths sorry nice try though but his write up on this explains it in full detail wik it if you want.

Kevin Smith stole it from Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex which was written in the 70s. ps. Kevin Smith was writing JOKEY DIALOGUE thx

When Superman takes a piss it must be like a fire hose, where would he even go? :p

LOL...the piss arguement has always been my biggest defense against naysayers who say it's physcially impossible.

Kudos to the person who brought up the analogy of blood pressure. Though, while I was watching LnC, season three, tonight I noticed something they did and it made me wonder.

If you have those DVDS there is an episode where Lois and Clark are in a virtual reality. The monitor keeps track of their vital signs and when Clark first puts on the device his heart rate and blood pressure measure WAY above a normal human. I soooo wish I knew how to capture pictures and post them, but I paid particular attention to this scene because I had read another thread recently about what exactly are Superman's vital statistics.

LOL...I so wish I coud capture that scene but his vitals where like very HIGH. The first number alone was in the three hundreds...and when he got all hot and bother he blow the vital machine because he was so amped up as he was making out with Lois.

So, considering that...I think it makes even more sense that a powerless Clark impregnated Lois, and I hope the sex that made Jason came from SII.

You know we could go round and round with this because sadly its soooooo poorly written and can be interperetped anyway.
So we will have to agree to disagree that powered up he could have sex with lois I say he couldn't and have a ton of reasons why and you say he can and probably have as many reasons so its a wash because of again how poorly its written.

I do think its funny you try to make superman logical though because there is nothing logial about him since they changed him from just being denser and stronger and unable to fly only super leap to the heat vision cold breath flying solar power absorbing superman we have today.
His current powers are sooo unexplainable its not even funny even using there canon of how he absorbs solar energy and stores it which allows him to fly have xray vision and cold breath yeh might as well have just made him magic its about as hoaky.:down

Ummm...everyone has tried to make him logical. He wouldn't be very popular if there wasn't some reason for his existence.

I argue people trying to understand Superman to the level of the science that makes sense in real life, but you can't really bring him down to that level...truly.

He always has to exist above your imagination....and in some point scientific explanation:up:

The thing that bugs me about the kid is...........
Who does the cast of characters, Perry, Jimmy, Richard et al acknowledge as the father?
If Lois is the mommy(biologically) there has to be a daddy(biologically). It appears that Richard is accepted by all as the father, but how does that fit??????

It seems to be common knowledge in the film that Lois loved, and probably still loves Superman, evidenced by Jimmy's remark, and Richard's interrogational conversation. Generally when one is that obviously head over heels in gah gah land love they are not capable of other serious relationships; or at least relationships deep enough that they include intimacy. In the absence of Richard's character then it should be obvious to all who Jason's father is.

But Richard is present and it appears that he is presented as the father. Now how does that timeline work.

After the dissappearance of Superman, Lois "moved on". She met Richard and began a relationship that led to intimacy; but what was the time interval? Surely if Superman is the father Lois was pregnant before he left. Did she begin intimate relations with Richard the next day, or week, or month????
Is Lois' gestation period longer than nine months?

Wouldn't Perry, Jimmy and even Richard raise an inquisitive eyebrow when Lois announced she was having a child?????? a very short time after her Super-soulmate had dissappeared.
To me it's a puzzlement.

See and thats a sad part because early on he was based on scientific idea's of what a person from a heavier gravty planet would be like.

Somehow I think in the 50's early 60's (I am not sure exactly when) is when he started to get completely unexplainable powers like xray vision and heat vioson , cold breath and flight.

and even sader is when they did the whole story the physic's of superman where they show how his body is basicly a solar battery explaining the heat vison and a couple other powers it also left others still unexplained like cold breath etc.
Ah well that was my point though its almost impossible to argue the physic's of superman because they can be interpurtped sooo many ways.

^ It was fairly soon after his first appearance in print that Superman's powers were ramped up.

Re. Superman and physics.

I like what Singer is doing in SR; Superman's powers are too fantastic to rationalize, so don't even bother trying; however he uses them in a world where physical laws do apply. So how do those laws affect Superman flying at 40mph, 400mph, or 4000mph.

Well I am pretty sure it wasn't till sometime in the 50's early 60's because the late 40's early 50's cartoon had him just denser and stronger no flying heat vision etc.
