Marvel can only make a few movies per year so some properties need to be "imported" to external studios. This is a fact that we must face to see many Marvel heroes on screen.

Which properties Marvel should still be/start giving to other studios?

IMO:
- Deadpool
- Cable
- X-Men
Can still be under Fox.

Marvel needs to take back Spider-Man. Maybe give out Moon Knight/Luke Cage/Iron Fist/Heroes for Hire as substitute.

X-Men isn't coming back until two more spinoffs maximum. Spiderman ain't coming back till SM4/SM5 and maybe the Venom spinoff... but I TOTALLY agree... Moon Knight, Cloak N Dagger, HfH need to be dished out to Lionsgate or some of these other studios... Marvel has their hands full with Avengers characters right now. You want to get these characters out while the property is hot.

Definitely would like to see a Cable movie.

MoonKnight could be done well as long as it has the right creative control behind it. Marvel should definitely make this on their own. It could be their first truly dark character under Marvel Studios.

I completely agree, and have been saying this for a while.

Agreed.

Yeah, I don't have many of MoonKnight's stuff but I always loved his comic books. I loved Deadpool's too but I can see Fox making it unlike the comicbook just like Blade. Although, Blade was better, IMO, the way he was done on film compared to the comic book.

Hopefully Marvel never gave up MoonKnight. I can't see a studio before now wanting to make the movie bc it is not that well known. But with the new superhero craze...it could happen.

You should read the Essential MK collections and the new series, WXP.

Spidey will not go back to Marvel in the forseeable future. Sony is gonna hold on to that cash cow.

Marvel Studios won't want to do Moon Knight. No R-rated films, remember? So if he's gonna be done right, he would need to be licensed out.

They don't have to go R-rated for MK. They can just adapt Moench version. It was dark noir like Nolan's Batman not gory like the series.

I think Sony owns it until the Seventh film. That's what I read awhile back. I don't think that includes spinoffs so we have atleast 10 to 12 years until Marvel gets their 8 legged freak back. That is not soon enough. I just hope Marvel can hang in there until then.

Spider-man's okay. Its in much better hands then X-men, Daredevil, FF and Elektra is.

Based on that recent article Fox still has Daredevil for sure or no...they must if there considering a sequel......it's been a while since DD and Elektra..:csad:...Marvel should try hard to get the rights back...or how exactly do the rights work...would someone care to explain?

For the most part...I think the X-Men series is/should be okay with Fox...(the X-Films are my favorite Marvel Films so far...)...well compared to Fox's other Marvel films...

I still wanna see Black Widow and/or Iron Fist (I wouldn't mind Heroes For Hire Or Luke Cage...but I'm more of an Iron Fist fan) the most...didn't Lionsgate have those ones at one point with a few other characters...

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the MAX Titles...The Hood and Alias for sure(wasn't there supposed to be an Alias show...with a different title)...

Whatever ever happened to Werewolf By Night...I haven't heard anything about it for like at least a couple years? I bet it's Officially dead...I just wanna see some of the more horror-oriented characters...aside from the X-Men and X-Related teams and characters...the horror characters are my other favorites in Marvel...

After the third Spidey, I think they're in some trouble. Spidey more than the Xmen have a big enough fan base that people refuse to acknowledge how bad Spidey 3 was. X-Men, through Fox, were semi-true to the comics and were written real well for an older audience, except for the third. But as a premise for all three X films they were all good. I think Marvel should get Spidey back.

As for Fox, they will milk their cash cows until they keel over and die.

I doubt they will ever make another FF or Elektra, though.

I agree Elektra will never get a sequel, especially through Fox, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see them going back to FF.

I'd like to see atleast one more FF movie if they wanted to reboot after that.

Marvel films needs to focus on Avengers movies first; The Iron Man Trilogy obviously, and Thor, Captain America, The Avengers and their possible sequels.

Ideally I'd like to see Marvel give the big 3 avengers trilogies. That to me is more important than any reboot, or minor character movie right now.

That's why it's taken so long before starting any new films.

I do acknowledge 3 was a letdown but it wasn't terrible.

The execs need to leave Riami alone to do his thing and the films will be great.

Spider-man's films were much more faithful to the comics then X-men were. They were all well written, too.

But as a premise for all three X films they were all good.

X-3 had many good premises. None of them were executed well.

I think Marvel should get Spidey back.

That would be over-kill. Sony does know how to make good Spider-man films, even 3 was a decent movie.

Don't they have to make a movie every few years to keep the rights?
