I was looking for a Bronson type actor. Someone with a hardened look and capable of doing stoic and badass. I think Grillo has this in spades.

Jill McBain - Marion Cotillard

This one was tough. I was looking for an actress with a similar vibe to Cardinale. Someone with beauty and a strong presence. Someone you'd believe as the future head of a whole town.

Cheyenne - Woody Harrelson

There were a few ways I could have gone with this one. Apparently the role was written with a Mexican in mind but I decided to go with more of a southern gunfighter thing.

Also considered: Billy Bob Thornton, Demián Bichir, Jk Simmons.

Frank - Kurt Russell

There were a few others who could fit here but given the current resurgence in popularity I think now's the time for Russell to use his good guy charm for something more sinister.
