I was thinking about Michael Shannon as Leland in my Twin Peaks recast.

Never thought of Shannon for Leland. Did consider him for BOB, though. Decided to go for someone more overtly creepy. And then I thought of him playing Gordon and couldn't stop laughing.

Agh, I've been thinking of a Denis Villeneuve Twin Peaks for ages. Of course, I had Jake as Dale.

I think I prefer Shannon as Leland. Come to think it, Danny Huston would make a good Leland too.

Lee is the hardest role to cast because ... how do you follow Bruce ?? Almost an impossible task . After thinking about it for a while I decided on Mike Moh . He isn't as common as Donnie Yen , Tony Ja, Jet Li, etc. he is more youthful and he really impressed me in Street Fighter Assians Fist . He will be playing Triton in Marvels Inhumans so he will be getting more Recognition. I think Reeves would kill as Roper and Fox has that swagger for Williams . They are in the same age range that I would feel they were old war buddies as well. While Fox is known for his ego to a degree I think he would be ok taking a back seat with Reeves to Moh . I think him and Reeves would respect the roles and the film enough to be ok with that. Reeves definitely more so than Fox . Jet Li is an awesome villain and he can be charming as hell so he is my pick for Han . I almost don't wanna see this movie remade at all but I think I would be ok with it if the right cast , director, and respect was put into it
