Predators

The trailers got me hyped and I was really hoping it would be at least as good as Predator 2 (which Robert Rodriguez implied) but once I watched it I realized it was no better than the AvP movies.

Clash of the Titans -- I thought that was going to kick ass but it turned out to be total crap from start to finish.

Cowboys & Aliens -- just bland, so bland and dull from start to finish. Not exciting, not engaging, just so mediocre.

Sucker Punch -- far and wide, one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Tron Legacy.

That film had so much potential... Ive never stopped watching a film, like, 15 minutes before the end before but with this I just couldn't give a **** how any of it turned out.

Green Lantern.

Let's put it this way. News on the GL movie was the reason I joined SHH!

Heh. Same here.

Well, that and I got banned from AICN and needed somewhere ro rant aimlessly...

Green Lantern too
The Tree of Life
X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Superman Returns, but hate is too strong a word for that.

Never hate a movie. But...

Green Lantern
Wolverine
The Dark Knight
Terminator Salvation

The Dark Knight? Really? I could see why someone wouldn't think it was all that, but you HATED it?

I think the title of this thread should be changed to:

Green Lantern and other recent movies you highly anticipated but ended up hating

No! lol. I can never actively hate a movie. But i don't like it, and it was probably the most hyped for a movie i've ever been. It's not what I want from a Batman movie, I find it incredibly boring when Joker isn't on the screen. Batman being the most uninteresting character in his own movie is a big no-no from me :D

I'd say Spider-Man 3 was the last film I was REALLY pumped for, but ultimately crashed.

Funny thing about Spider-Man 3... I thought it was terrible... but for some reason I wasn't surprised I felt that way. Now, don't get me wrong... I'm a big fan of the first two Spider-Man movies. But for some reason... I don't know if it was the trailer, the choice of villains, some of the casting... I think I just somehow knew it wasn't going to be very good. Everyone else seem shocked at how crappy it was but I was just kinda "meh" on the whole thing.

Spider-Man 3's a good one.

To this day, I have yet to allow myself to get as excited about a movie as I did with that.

I've gotten through bitter, awkward breakups to longterm relationships that were less painful than watching that thing...

The Fountain by Aronofsky.

Worst film I have ever seen and I'm not even exaggerating. I still can't believe it

While i understand why many disliked it i may be the only one that actually enjoyed Spider-Man 3

I enjoy SM3, as an unintentional comedy akin to Batman and Robin. And for the action scenes and Franco.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (meh)
Terminator Salvation: Dislike
Spiderman 3: HATE

X-men The Last Stand
The Matrix Reloaded
Spider-Man 3

While it was full of flaws it was the movie where Mary Jane was more likeable, and i actually liked the scenes between her and Harry (Franco).

More likable? She more unlikable than the first two movies combined.

She's jealous of Peter getting so much attention while her terrible acting career was failing, and decided to break up with him because of that. She got together with Harry to spite Peter.

And overall, she brought the whole movie down. Whenever SM3 is on tv, I'll watch any scenes that don't have her.

Thomas Church and Topher Grace weren't that bad to me as actors, but as new characters they were horribly presented. Sandman wasn't even a villain, just a bum. The symbiote wasn't developed properly (as a result, neither was Venom), plus Gwen Stacy was thrown in for no reason.

I'd have liked either of the following;

- Genuinely evil Sandman, plus Harry as GG2. No Venom story.
- Harry as GG2, plus Venom. No Sandman story.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. I enjoyed the first one, but Dead Man's Chest is one of the few movies I thought about leaving halfway through.
